Amlal — Arabic for sands — was born at the crossroads of desert and ocean, in Taghazout, Morocco. What started as one surf camp has grown into four addresses on the Atlantic coast, all run by the same local family, all shaped by the same love for the sea.

How do I book a stay at Amlal?
Browse our properties, pick your dates and number of guests, then complete checkout in a few steps. For group bookings or special requests, reach out via WhatsApp or email and we'll put together a tailored quote.
What comes with every stay?
Every Amlal guest — surf camp or apartment — gets the full Amlal experience: daily guided surf sessions with a certified coach, board and wetsuit, a Moroccan breakfast and a door-to-door airport transfer from Agadir. Staying in one of our apartments in Agadir, Anza or Taghazout? Our van picks you up for the surf sessions in Aourir and drops you back. Each property page shows what its price includes and what you can add at checkout.
Do you offer airport transfers?
Yes. Our places are 25 to 50 minutes from Agadir Al Massira Airport — about 25 minutes to Agadir, 45 to Aourir and 50 to Taghazout — and we organise transfers for every guest. Add your flight details at checkout and our driver will be there when you land.
Do I need surfing experience?
Not at all. Our coaches run sessions for every level — beginners learn on soft waves while intermediates and advanced surfers tackle the reef breaks. You will always be with people at your own level.
When is the best time to visit?
The Atlantic delivers consistent swell from September through May, with the biggest swells in winter. July and August are warmer and great for beginners. Our properties are open year-round.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations more than 14 days before arrival receive a full refund, or may be transferred once to a new date commencing within 6 months of the original date, subject to any price difference. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable. Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days.
Can I book for a group?
Yes — our properties can accommodate groups of up to 30 guests. Contact us directly and we will arrange accommodation, coaching and any extras across one or more properties.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Absolutely. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available at every meal. Let us know your requirements at booking and the kitchen will plan accordingly.
